Guidelines for Authors Contributing Reviews or Review Articles

Authors who have received a copy for review by us are requested to conform to the following guidelines:

▲ Please send us your review or review article within 12 weeks after receipt of your copy for review.

▲ The length of reviews should in general not surpass 5-6 pages, that of review articles should not surpass 12-15 pages in the standard format of Oriens Extremus.

▲ Whereas in reviews, the title of the review merely consists in giving the bibliographic data of the book under review, a review article may be given a title of its own.

▲ Authors are urgently requested to avoid unnecessary sharpness in their evaluation. In cases of doubt, the editors may insist on a more moderate treatment. Besides, authors are strongly requested to dispense with the mere listing up of typos and other minor mistakes and instead send a list of these to the author directly so that he may make use of it for a revised edition.

▲ Apart from the above said, the Guidelines for Authors Preparing Their Manuscripts for Print to Oriens Extremus are also valid for authors wishing to submit reviews or review articles.
