Recommended Form of Bibliographic References

 
 

References to monographs and articles should conform to the samples listed below. The full title of a book or article should be given only the first time a work is referred to. Subsequently, an abbreviated title should be used. (e.g., Graham: Disputers, xx; Pines, “Changing views”, xx.) The full titles of journals and works frequently cited should also be given in full only the first time, indicating an acronym which hereafter will be referred to.

The use of an abbreviation to indicate the page numbers should be dispensed with.
